Radiant skin starts with a gentle cleanser
This golden gelled oil doesn't only remove sunscreen, foundation, and pollution without affecting your delicate skin barrier; it feels good to use, too.
The Jojoba oil and glycerin mix gently traps impurities on the surface of your skin as you massage it in.
When you add a splash of water, the rich gel turns into a thin milk, washing makeup, suncreen and pollution down the sink. You don't need to use a cloth - unless you want to.
20% glycerin leaves your skin with a soft and hydrated after-feel, ready for your next skincare step.
Use 1-4 pumps, depending on the texture you prefer. Massage the gel cleanser into dry skin using damp fingers. Remove using splashes of water and hands, or a soft washcloth.
One bottle will last around 2 months, depending on usage.

Our cleanser effectively removes both oil and water based impurities, making it ideal as a one step cleanser. However it'll fit into your routine however you like.

You may be one of the people who avoids washcloths due to their abrasive effect. Thanks to our gel-to-milk formula, the cleanser rinses away easily with just water and your hands —no cloth needed.
A little goes a long way
A small amount is all that's needed; one bottle contains approximately 125 pumps of gel, and you can use between 1-4 for each cleanse. The typical repurchase time is 10 weeks.

FAQ
Are fragrance or essential oils added?
We don't add essential oils or fragrance, and avoid ingredients with a high allergenic potential. The only scent is the natural scent from the materials.
The Balm-Gel cleanser naturally has a feint sweet scent from the Golden Jojoba seed oil, however many people don't notice it.
Is this suitable for my acne / rosacea prone skin?
While we can't make any claims about how our product works with medical skin conditions, if you find your skin is happier with a gentler routine, the confirmed mildness of the cleanser may provide reassurance. Additionally, many of our repeat customers have similar skin conditions.
Individual suitability will vary; for example, the cleanser encourages a facial massage, which some with rosacea prefer to avoid.
On the other hand, it may be you avoid oil based products because of concerns about their compatibility with oily or spot prone skin. While the cleanser is 70% oil-based (with the rest largely glycerine), it doesn't have the oily or waxy residue you may have experienced from some balm cleansers.
Does the Balm-Gel cleanser remove mascara?
The short answer is yes, the long answer is that how easily it does this depends on the mascara.
Tubing mascara - this is the easiest to remove, and will come away without any extra effort.
Traditional or waterproof mascara - The glycerin/oil texture of our cleanser may make this a little slower process than a straight oil based or water based cleanser. That's becuase unlike the makeup on your skin, the mascara in dry, so it needs something to soak into it in order for it to come away.
It's good idea to massaging the cleanser in with a little water, and use a soft cloth or wipe to swipe mascara of the eyelashes, before moving on to the rest of your face.
